Linux Binary Published!
Linux users can now enjoy the desktop version of Irrational Pie and begin to prepare right now for the next Pi-Day on March 14th.
Keen observers may have noticed the difference in version numbers between Android and Linux packages, that is due to the Linux version having a few minor differences required for workstations that are not needed on mobile devices. For instance, device landscape orientation, new layout and physical keyboard recognition are some of them. The rest remains exactly the same.
These small differences will be synchronized in the next releases, when I can work on a settings system, opening to the user some side features that already exist but are unavailable because of being hard coded in the default configuration.
"Linux first", may seem an odd decision but, In fact, I've had to completely re-arrange my publishing plans and improvise, after deciding to drop the web/html5 version on which I had been working all these days, because of some undetermined compatibility issues among browsers - "here they come again".
Well... Linux - once more - has proved to be waaaaay more handy.
Next in the list comes the Windows version, while I let the html5 for the time being.
